HENRII in Bamberg

Nice architecture, cool ambience, excellent food and super friendly service. In terms of price rather high, but that is absolutely okay with the quality of the food. However, the portions could be a bit bigger despite everything. Nevertheless we would love to come back!

Had a to go menu, was still warm at home in Lichtenfels. Everything was delicious and the chocolate tiramisu alone is worth a trip to Bamberg😋

Great food. Nice personel. Very short waiting time and everything was very, very tasty. In addition, everything is neat and clean.

Very tastefully decorated. A few small service carvers that were skilfully concealed by the very cordial nature. I will gladly come again.

We were allowed to taste an outstanding service. Super nice service (and that means the entire staff on the evening of our visit): attentive, fast, excellent advice and extremely friendly and polite! Even the drinks are carefully refilled, which unfortunately is not standard in other restaurants. Even though the restaurant was really well attended. But the food is also impressive! We had delicious Franconian wine (red and white, each to go with the main courses). The Franconian Silvaner is absolutely recommendable, very fruity dry white wine. The pasta was homemade and you can clearly tell the difference, delicious cream sauce and fine truffles. The Iberico was excellent on the point and tender pink juicy! My highlight was the dessert. Sour cream ice cream on plums and streusel. A dream 😍 Great emphasis is placed on optics and the taste is not neglected either. An absolute must when visiting Bamberg!

Were passing through and stopped at HENRII spontaneously and with luck got a table. The dishes were very tasty and delicious. The service was friendly and the food came quickly. We can only recommend the restaurant!

Called spontaneously and with a lot of luck could still get a place. The HENRII is in demand, no wonder given the quality it offers. Our roast beef was perfectly prepared, the starter was also impressive and the chocolate tiramisu was a highlight at the end of the evening. The service was extremely friendly and attentive at all times - you really feel at home here as a guest. If I have to look for a fly in the ointment here, it is the selection of wines by the glass that is too limited in my opinion. Here you could add 3-4 good drops from the extensive wine menu. Overall clearly 5 stars for a great evening at the HENRII!

Nice place ... great ambience ... very good food ... and fantastic service

Top services with excellent and outstanding cuisines. The staff were all very friendly and carried the smiles all the times even though in such stressful Wednesday evening with facemasks. We as a twins pair reserved two tables and served by a high qualified staff Michael with good product knowledge definitely made our dinner perfect. Kinda recommend the US tender and the unique appetizer Quinoa. We felt in love with it. Big complement for the kitchen team. We ll absolutely come back again.

The two stars are for good cuisine. The waitress there is not interested in anything other than the expected tip. After our starter we had to wait more than an hour for our main course, although guests who appeared later had long since had to eat. We didn't even get an apology, it was blamed on the stress in the kitchen. It was not only the first, but also the last time that I carried my money there.

Food very tasty, portions not that big. The sour cream ice cream is particularly recommended. The service is good, reservation required.

Despite the fantastic food - that was our last visit. We waited over 1.5 hours for the main courses. Despite the advice, there was no excuse, just a "Yes, sorry, the kitchen won't catch up today". Funny that many tables that came after us and some of them had ordered the same thing (burger and steak) got their food well in front of us. And weird that our food came about 20 minutes after we asked if we had been forgotten. Whatever, whether stress in the kitchen or messing up the order, anything can happen, but: An espresso on the house or at least an apology should be included. The waitress (who had served us up to then), after we asked where the food was going, no longer showed up at our table (and there was hardly anything going on, so it couldn't have been lack of time), but the Trainee sent ahead. So you can solve that too. It's a shame that the waitress is always the face to the customer. Great food, lousy service.

We were with you at the beginning of August! It was very, very nice! Courteous service, excellent cuisine! Very competent and the boys and girls in the kitchen love their craft, which we noticed in the delicious dishes! We made reservations for the next evening during lunch! Fantastic.

Very stylish. Food very attractive and tasty. It is relatively noisy on the terrace, so there are also places inside by the window. If you get there early, you might get a seat without a reservation.

Actually, I was just jumping through the city, but then I ended up on a side street by the river that happened to lead to the Henrii. As soon as I walked into the shop, I fell in love! The staff is courteous and really gracious! When I got something to eat, I was also amazed to discover that the chef is out of this world! Very nice location, tastefully decorated with a great outdoor terrace. Good card with reasonable prices. However, yesterday we had a waiting time of 60 minutes between the starter and the main course, which is definitely far too long. The double follow-up after the ordered wine, which was just served with the meal, also diminishes the impression. Hence 1 point deduction for an otherwise successful evening. Addendum: 2 days later we were there again at noon - since something was less busy - the order and time were optimally coordinated. Great atmosphere, very delicious food, a real highlight for Bamberg!

We had the Henri Sprizz, Rhubarb Lemonade, truffle fries and eggplant burger and everything was absolutely delicious. The outdoor seating is comfortable and stylish, with relaxing river sound and fantastic views! The service was wonderful and the prices were reasonable. We will be back here!

We were the second in the Henrii Great atmosphere, especially when you can sit outside by the water. Drinks would be great, especially the homemade lemonade. We had starters, main courses and desserts and everything was very, very good. If you like steak and are looking for decent quality, this is the place for you 👍

By far the best restaurant in Bamberg. Elegant and simple menu, beautiful location, and a welcomed break from every other restaurant in town which have identical franconian menus.

Amazing steak and sides were good too. Service took a while but it was quite crowded as well.

Good value for money! We had the salmon fillet and the argentinian steak and both were delicious! Recommended for a business or romantic dinner.

I took nothing from this restaurant, because the waiter told me all the vacant tables were reserved. However, I tried to make the reservation from their website immediately and it was still AVAILABLE! I don’t know how the food taste like. I believe it’s good, but their waiter training should be working harder.

Wonderful atmosphere, mouth watering menu and a wine list that will impress any wine enthusiast. Five stars again and again.

Nice restaurant in a new building in Bamberg, modern and with very elegant atmosphere, on the side of the channel. Limited menu, but classy. Service was good. Excellent choice for a business meal.
